VisionBuildSIT — Service Company Website on WordPress (Custom Theme, Gutenberg Widgets, and Service Areas Module)

For VisionBuildSIT, I developed a WordPress website for a company providing Residential Services, Commercial/Retail Services, and Industrial Services. The key focus of the project was an admin-friendly setup, flexible Gutenberg building blocks, and a clear way to present service coverage by areas/locations.

What was delivered

1) Custom WordPress Theme

  • Built a specialized custom theme with a clean, project-oriented architecture
  • Implemented header and footer settings in the admin panel so updates can be made without editing code

2) Custom Gutenberg Widgets/Blocks

  • Created a set of custom Gutenberg widgets/blocks to assemble pages in the required design style
  • Improved content management: most sections can be updated directly in the editor

3) Service Areas / Locations Module
I developed a dedicated module to manage service locations/areas. The output is displayed as a user-friendly two-column layout:

  • Left column: a list of areas with links to dedicated area pages that present the full range of services available in that specific location
  • Right column: an interactive map with markers for all service areas

Result

The project delivered a scalable and easy-to-manage WordPress solution with flexible Gutenberg blocks and a clear location-based structure that supports both user navigation and SEO: visitors can quickly select an area and instantly see which services are available there.
