For Cavalier Builders Inc, I worked on improving an existing WordPress website for a home renovation company. The main goal was to bring key pages in line with the Figma design, make them easy to edit in Gutenberg, and improve the presentation of services and project galleries.

What was delivered

• Enhancements to the existing WordPress website, working within the current structure and content.
• Built custom page templates aligned with the Figma layout:
  • Blog templates (archives/categories/single post),
  • Service page templates,
  • Gallery/portfolio templates for showcasing completed work.
• Adapted the content structure for Gutenberg, so the admin team can update pages without code changes.
• Implemented a service areas / locations map to clearly display where the company provides services.

Result

The website received updated, Figma-aligned page templates, a smoother Gutenberg editing experience, and clearer service/galleries presentation with location coverage shown on an interactive map.
